  2.     SELECT NEW EVENT TYPE

  4.     You can use this window to select which type of test you want to
  5.     create. The rest of this subsection describes the Select New Event
  6.     Type window's fields and buttons.

  8.     Fields
  9.  
  10.     This window contains the following fields:
  11.  
  12.     Defaults Host
  13.  
  14.     Use this field to specify which host contains the default settings
  15.     the tests you will be creating.
  16.  
  17.     Test category
  18.  
  19.     Use this toggle to select the test type for your test. You can use
  20.     the following types of tests:
  21.  
  22.     + Files (the default)
  23.     + Processes
  24.     + Directories
  25.  
  26.     Sub-category
  27.  
  28.     Depending on which Test Category you selected above, you can use
  29.     this toggle to further specify a subcategory of the test types. If
  30.     you selected the Files option in the Test Category field, you can
  31.     further specify what kind of Files test you want:

  33.     + Size of File (the default)
  34.     + Last Modified
  35.     + Last Accessed
  36.     + File Clamping
  37.  
  38.     If you selected the Processes option in the Test Category field, you
  39.     can further specify what kind of Processes test you want:
  40.  
  41.     + Instance of Process (the default)
  42.     + Size of Process
  43.     + Time Used by Process
  44.  
  45.     There are no further subcategory options to specify if you selected
  46.     the Directories option in the Test Category field.

  50.     This window contains the following buttons:

  52.     Apply
  53.  
  54.     Once you've selected the type of test you want to create, click on
  55.     the Apply button to bring up the Add Events Test window for that
  56.     test type. An example is shown below in "Add Test". From here you
  57.     can proceed to enter the parameters for your new Events test, as
  58.     defined below in "Add Test".

  62.     Click on this button to discard any changes and close the window.
